Kelly B:
Kelly was born in Merritt, BC but grew up in Fraser Lake. She attended Lakeland College in Vermillion, Alberta graduating in 2003 from the Animal Health Technician program. She then worked in Alberta for two years, before deciding to "go West". She has been with the Prince George Veterinary Hospital since May of 2005. Kelly has seven pets; two cats "Hey You" and "Felix", two siamese fighting fish "Ben" and "Jerry","Zoom" a Border Collie, "Quik", a Border Collie mix, and "Hairy", a black lab mix. Kelly was married in 2011. In her spare time she likes to be outdoors; camping, fishing, hiking, and taking the dogs to the lake.
Rosie W:

Rosie grew up in 'small town', Saskatchewan. She grew up on the family farm and that is where she developed her love of animals. She went to college in Vermillion, Alberta; graduating in 2003. She began her career at our hospital in 2004. Since arriving in Prince George, she got married and had a baby girl in 2009. Her hobbies are reading, scrapbooking and watching movies.
Christina B:

Christina was raised in Houston, BC and grew up being very involved in 4-H. Her love of animals took her to Fairview College where she obtained her degree in Animal Health Technology. She then moved to High Prairie where she worked there as an AHT for six years with a one year hiatus to work as a barn manager at the White Mud Equestrian Centre in Edmonton. She now lives in Prince George with her two cats, one boxer, and one horse. When not working, she is either out riding or just spending time with her critters.
Kristie W:
Kristie was raised in Ottawa, Ontario and Aylmer, Quebec. She moved to Coquitlam, BC at age eleven where she completed French Immersion to Grade twelve. She was active in Girl Guides and represented BC at an international Scout camp in Finland. She attended SFU and Nursing at BCIT before finding her passion in Animal Health Technology. In 1996 she graduated with honours from the University College of the Cariboo in Kamloops. Kristie has lived in Prince George with her husband since 1998 and has two sons. She has been the editor of the AHT Association of BC newsletter for nine years. She worked with Dr. Alan Olson for eleven years until his retirement. She joined our staff In September 2009. She is a Cub leader and enjoys yoga and cycling.
Sonia S:
Sonia started at the Prince George Veterinary Hospital in 1992, working in the summers as a ward attendant. She has gradually moved through the building, working in many areas including as a receptionist, receptionist helper and ward attendant. She settled in as an office assistant, working full time starting in 1996. Her dedication, caring and excellent work attitude promoted her to office manager in 2004 and now she is training to become a registered Animal Health Technician.
So far, Sonia has resisted the temptation (though with quite a lot of self control imposed) to add to her one cat family. In her spare time, Sonia likes to quilt and relax with friends and family.
Lili U:

Lili grew up in Osoyoos, BC, graduating from Osoyoos Secondary High and going on to earn a B. Sc. Zoology at UBC in Vancouver. She then returned to the sunny Okanagan where she worked in a veterinary hospital for twelve years, learning all aspects of the business as a kennel technician, animal health technician, receptionist, and eventually office manager. Lili moved to Prince George in 2009 and lives with her three horses, miniature donkey, miniature horse, six bunnies, three dogs, and ten cats. She loves living in Prince George and working at our hospital. Lili is currently training to be a registered Animal Health Technician.
Her favourite pasttimes are "fixin'" things around the farm, playing with her many pets, being outside, watching movies, reading, and going on nature walks with the dogs.
Renate U:
Renate is shown here with her little friend, Benny. (He has his own issues, but that?s another story!) Renate has worked at the Prince George Veterinary Hospital for many years as a technician?s aid. When she is not working she is doing outdoor things like walking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and camping. She has lived in Prince George all of her life and thinks it?s a great place to live!
