Dr. John Colebrook: 

John came to Prince George way back in 1976, interested in practicing mixed animal medicine and planning on staying for a few years to gain veterinary experience and pay off student loans.  Now, it is over thirty years later and he is still here.  He has been married to Brenda for more than 23 years and has a daughter, Christie, a son Jeff, two horses, three dogs, two cats and (currently) no pocket pets!  John became a partner back in 1979 and is currently co-owner of Prince George Veterinary Hospital with Dr. Deb Kalyn.  When not working, John enjoys skiing during the winter months and canoeing, horseback riding and maintaining the acreage during the summer months. 

Dr. Deb Kalyn:

When not at work Deb enjoys sailing, scuba diving, travelling, walking the dog, wine making and house building (yes, they're still at it!)

Dr. Ricardo Bonafine:

Dr. Bonafine comes from a busy emergency practice in Calgary.  He enjoys swimming and has already developed a fan club amongst the clients - who have never seen their pets so relaxed in here before now.  He and his family are enjoying Prince George and the much faster commute to work. 








 

Dr. Samantha Fuller:

Dr. Fuller was born and raised in Prince George.  After high school, she attended the University of Calgary where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  She continued her education at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon where she graduated as a veterinarian.  She then completed an internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in small animal surgery and medicine.  Now she is happy to be back in Prince George with her two dogs Maddie and Pluto and the rest of her family.  She enjoys all outdoor activities including hiking, running, and playing basketball.

Dr. Terrence Barbonis:

Terrence came to Prince George from The Netherlands on the last day of 2010. After graduating from Utrecht University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 he worked in an Australian companion animal clinic for a while before returning to The Netherlands, where he worked in a number of companion animal clinics. His area of interest is internal medicine.

He is living in Prince George and is happy to be in a city where there is a lot of space and that offers a good variety of outdoor recreational activities.

When not working he loves to travel, watch football (a.k.a. soccer) and play sports, such as mountain biking, football, tennis, squash and now hockey.

 Dr. Michelle Coombe:                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Dr. Coombe grew up in Calgary where she did her undergraduate degree in Ecology. She joined our team following her graduation from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2011. She is glad to be back after spending last summer working at our hospital as a student. She keeps herself busy with outdoor sports of all kinds and traveling as much as possible. Her area of interest is exotic pets - including rodents, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, as well as birds, reptiles and even the occasional fish! Her current pets include two budgies and one cat, who keep her occupied by trying to keep them at a safe distance away from each other.

Dr. Andrew Hodges:

Dr. Hodges originated in Prince George and has recently relocated back here to join our team. His area of interest is dentistry.
