It's all about our clinic cat, greeter and general lay-about, meet Luke...

Likes:
1. Napping on the most comfy blanket in the hospital – whether it is mine or not
2. Treats, treats, treats!
3. Little humans that scratch my ears
4. Early morning romps through the summer grass – long before traffic starts
Dislikes:
1. When meals are served late
2. Having my pedicure done
3. Being surprised by a wet, snuffly dog’s nose in my face
Hobbies:
1. Sweeping my tail under people’s noses – just my way of saying Hi!
2. Yelling at the humans when they ignore my rumbling stomach (or just to make sure they are listening to me – like a fire alarm you see)
3. Sneaking into cupboards and helping myself to a clean litterbox
4. Winding my way around ankles – keeps the humans on their toes!
THE PET PRINCIPLE: No matter which side of the door the cat or dog is on, it's the wrong side.
Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap.
-- William Bennett
They purr to signal a relaxed mood, And their purring may also help relax them and those around them who feel and hear their purring - like getting a nice massage in sound
